Minutes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Thursday, 14th March 2019 at 8 p.m. in Ruckinge Village Hall.

The minutes of the previous meeting had been circulated after a slight amendment and were agreed as correct.

17/00340/AM01/AS Harrison House, Ash Hill, Ruckinge. Alterations to the approved external access stairs & construction of a timber balcony in place of the existing conservatory
Cherrytree Paddock – rumours were circulating about a possible sale. A.B.C. to be informed and queries raised about the situation regarding the utilities on the site after the enforcement is actioned.
Capel Gardens – nothing further
Village "confines"
It was agreed to inquire from Cllr. Martin regarding Bromley Green Road definition.
Ashford Local Plan
Nothing further.
Fairview Industrial Estate
Nothing further.
Carters Field
Fencing, etc. – leave at present.
Chain and Gate vandalism – nothing further
Picnic Benches - nothing further.
Dog Training, field usage donation – nothing further. Cllr. J. Reid to pursue.
Supermarket” funding – nothing further.
Play area mowing – will be carried out as a co-operation.
Car park surface – it is understood that road planeings are becoming available. It was agreed that 20 tonnes will be ordered at £ 250 plus V.A.T. for the car park. Cllr. J. Reid to investigate, order, and liaise with Cllr. P Sillibourne.
Car park barrier – installation is expected to be started next Sunday

Defibrillators – nothing futther
Highways & Byways
Village “Gateways” – Cllr. A. Beaney is still investigated the actual costs of the “Gateways”. County Councillor Mike Angell is willing to give a contribution from his Members fund.
Drains and gullies – more to be reported Cllr. A. Beaney will inspect Wey Street where badgers are undermining the road.
Mirror, Bromley Green Road/Hornash Lane crossroads – nothing further.
Village Hall
Mr Bridge had been invited but was not available to attend this meeting. Not to be pursued.
